How to enable preview pane in Gmail
Google has come up with a new feature called preview pane in Gmail inorder to avoid the time waste of users.
Google has added a feature in their Google Labs which allows a user to enable a preview pane in Gmail. Instead of following the usual way of clicking an email and then returning back to inbox to check out another email, you can now switch between your mails using the Preview Pane.
To enable the ‘Preview Pane’ follow these steps:
- Sign into your Gmail account using your user name and password.
- Clichk on the ‘options’ icon followed by ‘mail settings’.
- Click on the ‘Labs’ Tab.
- Now in the list of features, go to the ‘Preview Pane’ option.
- Enable it and save your changes.
Now we have enabled the preview pane.
Click on the ‘Toggle Split Plane mode’ icon.
Choose the ‘Vertical Split’ option. Your inbox will look like this as shown below.
