At that time people thought of electronic calculators as being too complicated for ordinary people to understand, so they were mainly used by scientists and engineers. The man who invented the first mass-produced electronic calculator didn’t like that. He felt his invention was so important it deserved to be used by everyone. So he went around giving away free calculators to anybody who asked for one.
He called his invention “5g smart.” To him, that meant “5g is smart.” But what it really meant was “5g is simple enough so you can use it without getting confused—because you will get confused.”
